WASHINGTON – After 36 holes of action, the Georgetown University women's golf team is currently in second place at the 2024 Lady Blue Hen Invitational, hosted by the University of Delaware. The two-day tournament features a 10-team field taking on the par-72, 6,169-yard course at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The Hoyas are in second place at 14-over 590 (297-293) and six strokes behind the host Blue Hens at 8-over 584 (299-285). The Blue & Gray have a two-stroke lead on third-place UPenn (16-over 592, 299-293).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Georgia Ruffolo is the top Hoya on the leaderboard as she is currently in sole possession of second place at 3-under 141 (72-69). She managed a team-best nine birdies on the day with four in the first round and five in the second round. She added 22 pars over the two rounds, tallying 11 apiece in each round.
- Megan Gormley carded a two-round score of even 144 (72-72), good enough to tie for fourth place. The graduate student totaled eight birdies with four apiece in each of the first two rounds to go along with 22 pars on the day (12/10).
- Charlotte Hillary carded a 7-over 151 (76-75) to sit in a tie for 20th place. Hillary managed five birdies on the day with a pair in the first round to go with a trio in the second round. She added 11 and 10 pars in the first and second rounds, respectively.
- Following two rounds of play, Catherine Qiu sits in a tie for 34th place at 10-over 154 (77-77). For the day, she managed a trio of birdies with a pair in round one and one in round two. She added 10 and 11 pars in rounds one and two, respectively.
- Playing as an individual, Tina Tang carded a 13-over 157 following the first day of action to tie for 47th. She added five birdies (3/2) to go along with 20 pars (11/9).
- Olivia Ty, also playing as an individual, is currently tied for 61st place at 19-over 163 (83-80). She tallied 21 pars on the day with 10 in the first round and 11 in the second round.
- Gabriella Eifrig rounds out the Hoyas at 22-over 166 (86-80) to currently sits at 63rd. She managed a trio of birdies, all in the second round, to go along with 18 pars (10/8) on the day.
