WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's and women's cross country programs will head north to University Park, Pennsylvania for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals hosted by Penn State University on Friday, November 15. The No. 8 Georgetown women are coming off their fifth consecutive BIG EAST title, while the men finished third at the meet. This is the second time the men will compete at University Park, while this marks the first time this season for the women's squad.

· Regionals will begin with the women's team competing in the 6k at noon ET and the men will follow shortly after, racing in the 8k at 1 p.m. ET.
About the No. 8 Georgetown Women
- The women are fresh off their fifth-straight BIG EAST title finishing with 42 points as a team. This marks the second-longest streak of consecutive Cross Country titles in BIG EAST history (Villanova, 1989-94)
- Chloe Scrimgeour led the way for the Hoyas at BIG EAST Championships, finishing 3rd overall with a time of 19:53.12. Scrimgeour received BIG EAST First Team honors for the second consecutive season.
- Scrimgeour was one of three Hoyas receiving First Team honors (Lucy Jenks, Melissa Riggins). The Blue & Gray also had five runners receive Second Team honors (Barrett Justema, Charlotte Tomkinson, Olivia Morganti, Fiona Max, Ruth Nerurkar).
- The Hoyas are ranked eighth nationally and second in the Mid-Atlantic Region entering this weekend.
