WASHINGTON – Senior first baseman Christian Ficca and junior left-handed pitcher Andrew Williams were both named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Ficca and Williams played vital roles in a 3-1 week for the Hoyas as GU swept Fairleigh Dickinson over the weekend.

• The Chevy Chase, Maryland native was stout for the Hoyas in a 3-1 week slashing .526/.550/.947.
• Ficca recorded 10 hits, two doubles, two home runs and 11 RBIs in four games for the Blue & Gray.
• The senior totaled 11 RBIs and three runs scored with one walk and a 1.000 fielding percentage.

 
Andrew Williams | LHP, Jr.

• The Atlanta, Georgia native was superb for GU in his lone outing securing his first win of the season in a 5.1 inning outing.
• Williams had a 1.69 ERA and allowed four hits, two runs, one earned run, zero walks and struck out eight FDU batters.
