WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team will square off with Maryland and Towson in midweek contests. GU will take on Maryland on Tuesday, April 9 with first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m. at Capital One Park. GU will then make the quick trip to Towson, Maryland to face Towson on Wednesday, April 10 with first pitch slated for 3 p.m.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Georgetown (21-9) won its weekend series over Seton Hall 2-1 which moves the Hoyas to 5-1 in conference action.
- In the Hoyas series against Seton Hall, GU allowed zero earned runs as the lone run Seton Hall scored on the weekend was unearned. This is the first time in program history the Hoyas haven't allowed an earned run during a weekend series.
- Christian Ficca leads GU at the plate slashing .388/.486/.664 on the season. The senior leads the team in RBIs (42) and is tied for the team lead in home runs with seven.
- Kavi Caster, Jake Hyde and Josh Rolling round out the top of the Hoya offense as the trio has combined for 75 runs scored this season, 23 doubles, four triples and 15 home runs.
- On the mound, Everett Catlett had dominated for the Hoyas. Catlett went eight innings allowing no runs and three hits while fanning six Seton Hall batters on Sunday. The lefty has allowed one earned run across his last five outings (31.1 IP) and he has recorded 36 strikeouts across the five appearances. Catlett currently boasts a 2.66 ERA in 47.1 innings of action this season.
ABOUT MARYLAND
- Maryland (22-10) is coming off a 1-2 weekend as the Terrapins dropped two out of three against Indiana. Maryland's lone win of the series was a 6-5 victory on Sunday.
- Eddie Hacopian leads the Terps at the plate slashing .367/.481/.500 on the season. Hacopian has 44 hits, seven doubles, three home runs and 27 RBIs to go with 25 walks.
- Joey McMannis leads Maryland on the mound with a 3.38 ERA in 32 innings of action. McMannis has eight appearances on the season and has allowed only 12 earned runs while striking out 21.
ABOUT TOWSON
- Towson (8-22) is coming off a 1-2 weekend where the Tigers took one game against Northeastern.
- Elijah Dickerson leads the Tigers at the plate slashing .350/.395/.517 on the season. Dickerson has 42 hits, 12 doubles, one triple, a home run and 17 RBIs.
- On the mound, Brett Seils leads Towson with a 7.12 ERA in 30.1 innings on the mound. Seils has allowed 24 earned runs while striking out 30.

The Hoyas will be back in action this weekend as Georgetown will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana to face Butler in a three-game BIG EAST series.
