VILLANOVA, Pa. – Georgetown University's second-seeded men's lacrosse looks to claim its sixth-straight BIG EAST Championship, Presented by JEEP against fourth-seeded host Villanova on Saturday evening. The Hoyas won their first title in the run at Villanova Stadium in 2018.

- The Hoyas (11-3) are coming off a thrilling 14-13 overtime victory over Providence in the semifinals on Thursday night.
- Aidan Carroll tallied seven goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to go with two assists in the win. Jack Schubert added four goals and an assist while both Graham Bundy Jr. and Alexander Vardaro chipped in a goal with two assists.
- On the season, Carroll leads the Hoyas with 53 points (35G, 18A) while TJ Haley adds 47 (12G, 35A) and Bundy chips in 43 (30G, 13A). Vardaro has 39 points (27G, 12A) while Patrick Crogan (18 points), Jordan Wray (17 points), Joe Cesare (15 points), Kade Goldberg (15 points), Chase Llewellyn (14 points) and Schubert (10 points) are all in double figures as well.

- Defensively, Ty Banks has been credited with 17 caused turnovers while Wallace Halpert and Dylan Hess both have 15, Seamus Foley adds 12 and Wesley Chairs has 11.
- In goal, Moore (11-3) has a 9.07 goals-against average to rank fifth in the NCAA to go with a .525 save percentage and 136 saves.
Scouting Villanova
- The fourth-seeded Wildcats upset top seed Denver 10-9 in their semifinal matchup on Thursday evening.
- Matt Licata and Thomas McIntire both had two goals and an assist against the Pios while Luke Raymond hit the game-winner with 36 seconds remaining.
- On the year, Licata leads Villanova with 54 points (35G, 19A) while Colin Michener adds 44 points (36G, 8A).
- On faceoffs, the Wildcats have run a bullpen of specialists following an injury to Justin Coppola. Lucas Kopecky took the majority of attempts against Denver and has won 17 of 45 on the year with 14 ground balls.
- Defensively, Stephen Zupicich has been credited with 48 caused turnovers to go with 57 ground balls.
- In goal, Anthony Wilson has started all 15 games for the Wildcats. He has a 10.33 GAA to go with 149 saves and a .493 save percentage this season.

- Friday's meeting will be the 43rd all-time between the two programs with Georgetown holding a 22-20 series lead.
- The Hoyas have won the past 10 meetings, including a 12-4 Georgetown win at Villanova in the regular season finale a week ago.
