Three Hoyas Selected in PLL College Draft

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University standouts Graham Bundy Jr., Dylan Hess and Alexander Vardaro were all selected in the 2024 Premier Lacrosse League College Draft on Tuesday night. Bundy was selected by the Denver Outlaws in the second round, 11th overall, Vardaro also went in the second round, 14th overall, and Hess was taken in the fourth round with the 28th overall pick.

Bundy was selected in the second round, 11th overall by the Denver Outlaws. He was the first player in program history to be named All-BIG EAST First Team four times in his career. Bundy tallied 44 points (31G, 13A) points on the year and was named a Tewaaraton Award Nominee. With 219 career points, he currently ranks fourth all-time in career scoring at Georgetown, third in career goals scored with 152 and tied for 11th all-time with 67 assists. A consensus first team All-American as a junior in 2022, Bundy was also a USILA Second Team All-American as a sophomore in 2021 and as a senior in 2023.
 
Alexander Vardaro

Vardaro was drafted in the second round, 14th overall by the Boston Cannons. He was named All-BIG EAST First Team in his first season on the Hilltop after scoring 42 points (29G, 13A). Prior to his time at Georgetown, he was an All-Ivy League standout at Princeton as an undergrad. Vardaro was also a USILA Second Team All-American as a senior with the Tigers.
 
Dylan Hess
Fourth Round, 28th Overall | Carolina Chaos

Hess was drafted in the fourth round, 28th overall by the Carolina Chaos. He was named First Team All-BIG EAST, his third league postseason honor in his career. One of the top short-stick defensive midfielders in the country, he was credited with 16 caused turnovers to go with 25 ground balls. Hess was named a USILA Honorable Mention All-American as a freshman in 2021 and as a junior in 2023.
