WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Caitlyn Phipps announced the team captains for the 2025 season on Tuesday. Seniors Leah Warehime, Maley Starr, Lily Athanas and Emma Gebhardt were selected by their teammates to lead the 2025 squad.

Leah Warehime | G | Senior | Finksburg, Md. 

• Last season, Warehime played in all 18 games.
• Tallied 118 saves for a save percentage of .393.
• Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on April 15.
• Named to the 2024 All-BIG EAST Second Team. 

Maley Starr | M | Senior | Winnetka, Ill.

• In 2024, started in 17 games and led GU with 20 caused turnovers. 
• As a junior, tallied 22 goals, nine assists, 27 ground balls and four draw controls. 
• Named to the 2024 All-BIG EAST Second Team. 

Lily Athanas | D | Senior | Manchester, Mass. 

• Last season, started in 18 games. 
• As a junior, recorded 25 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and 59 draw controls. 
• Named to the 2024 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll. 

Emma Gebhardt | A | Senior | Baldwinsville, N.Y.

• In 2024, started in 17 games. 
• Totaled 30 goals, eight assists, six ground balls and two caused turnovers. 
• Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on 2/12 and 4/15.
• Named to the 2024 All-BIG EAST Second Team.
• Selected to the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team and the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
