WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University cross country programs are set for a major test this Friday, heading to Madison, Wisconsin to take on a national-caliber field at the Nuttycombe Invitational. The Hoyas will battle over 30 other programs, including 19 nationally ranked teams in the women's 6K and 16 programs tabbed among the nation's best in the men's 8K races at the University of Wisconsin's Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course.
 
Meet Coverage

• The Nuttycombe Invitational is comprised of a women's B race (6K, 11:30 a.m.), a men's B race (8K, 12:10 a.m.), a women's A race (6K, 12:50 a.m.) and a men's A race (8K, 1:30 p.m.).

• The Hoya women were ranked No. 22 in the latest US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll.
• Melissa Riggins won the Gold 6K at the Paul Short Run with a decisive time of 19:34.8, helping secure a third place finish for the Hoyas.
• Riggins was named the BIG EAST Cross Country Female Athlete of the Week on October 7 for her efforts
