WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's soccer team earned two BIG EAST Conference major awards and six total all-conference honors on Wednesday when the league announced its postseason awards.

Zach Zengue was named Midfielder of the Year as well as being a unanimous selection to the first team. Sophomore
Mitchell Baker was another unanimous First Team All-BIG EAST honoree, while junior
Eric Howard also earned a spot on the first team. Graduate student captain
Diego Letayf was a Second Team All-BIG EAST selection. The third team included senior
Tenzing Manske as well as junior
Matthew Van Horn.

The Hoya coaching staff was honored as the BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year marking the 10th time in the program history and the eighth honor for Head Coach
Brian Wiese and his staff.

Zach Zengue
Midfielder of the Year, First Team All-BIG EAST (unanimous)
- Zengue has started all 17 games he has appeared in and has a team-leading 13 goals and nine assists for 35 points on the season.
- This includes two game winners and four penalty kicks.
- The North Oaks, Minnesota native currently leads the BIG EAST in points, goals and assists while ranking third, sixth and eighth in the three categories in the nation, respectively.
- He was a Preseason All-BIG EAST selection and earned three BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week awards this season while also being named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on two occasions.
- This is Zengue's third-career postseason honor after earning a spot on the first team a season ago as well as being named to the third team as a sophomore.
Mitchell Baker
First Team All-BIG EAST (unanimous)
- Baker has started all 16 games he has appeared in and ranks second on the squad in scoring with nine goals and two assists for 20 points on the year.
- His three game winners lead the BIG EAST Conference and rank in the top 30 in the nation.
- Baker was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week once this season as well as earning three nods to the weekly honor roll.
- This is his first-career postseason award on the Hilltop.
- The Melbourne, Australia native was a Preseason All-BIG EAST selection.
Eric Howard
First Team All-BIG EAST
- Howard has started all 15 games he has appeared in and has two assists on the season.
- On defense, the Redmond, Washington native is part of a backline that has posted nine shutouts for the year.
- This is his first-career postseason award on the Hilltop.
Diego Letayf
Second Team All-BIG EAST
- Letayf has started all 14 games he has appeared in and has three assists on the season.
- On defense, the third year team captain is part of a backline that has posted nine shutouts for the year.
- The Southlake, Texas native was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on 10/20.
- This is his first-career postseason award on the Hilltop.
Tenzing Manske
Third Team All-BIG EAST
- Manske has started all 16 games he has played in for the Blue & Gray this season with a record of 9-3-4 overall.
- He has combined for eight shutouts, including five solo clean sheets, and has 34 saves on the year.
- The Santa Fe, New Mexico native has an impressive 0.84 goals-against average and a .723 save percentage this season.
- His GAA ranks him third in the BIG EAST Conference and among the top 35 in the nation.
- This is his second-career postseason award on the Hilltop after earning a nod to the third team as a junior.
Matthew Van Horn
Third Team All-BIG EAST
- Van Horn has started 10 of the 14 games he has played for the Blue & Gray.
- The North Pole, Alaska native ranks third on the team in scoring with two goals and six assists for 10 points on the year.
- His six assists rank him third in the BIG EAST Conference and among the top 50 in the country.
- This is his second-career postseason award on the Hilltop after earning first team honors a season ago.
- He was a Preseason All-BIG EAST selection.
