WASHINGTON – After the Georgetown football team shut out Fordham 14-0 at Cooper Field on Senior Day on Saturday afternoon, Cooper Blomstrom and Dez Thomas II earned a Patriot League Weekly Honorable Mention, as announced by the league on Monday. 

Cooper Blomstrom | Jr. | DL | Dover, N.H.- Patriot League Weekly Honorable Mention 

• Blomstrom recorded a season high of 4.5 sacks for a loss of 24 yards. 
• The sophomore totaled six tackles (4 solo, 2 assists) and forced two fumbles. 

Dez Thomas II | Sr. | QB | Houston, Texas- Patriot League Weekly Honorable Mention 

• In GU's victory, Thomas II completed 18 of 28 passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns. 
• The senior also rushed 11 times for 49 yards, including a long of 17.
