WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's track & field program wrapped up competition on Friday, February 21, at the Terrier DMR Challenge in Boston, Massachusetts.
Both Georgetown DMR teams broke the school record in the men's and women's events at the meet.
"I thought all 4 legs executed really well. That's really all you can ask for on a relay. It was nice to get the school record but our main objective was to run a time that will qualify us for the NCAA meet. Hopefully we did enough to get that done.Assuming we qualify I am very confident we will line up a very competitive team at the NCAA meet." - Assistant Coach Brandon Bonsey
"The women put together a very well-run relay: each made poised, critical, and competitive decisions. They needed every one of those moments against such a strong field, and if the results of those efforts - a high place today and a large school record - holds up to qualify for the NCAA meet then they'll be as prepared as can be to compete on that stage." - Assistant Coach Mitchell Baker
