WASHINGTON – Georgetown track & field wrapped up a busy weekend of competition at the Florida Relays in Gainesville and the Dalton Ebanks Invitational in Fairfax, Virginia, highlighted by event wins, personal bests, and several additions to the program record books.
Tinoda Matsatsa won the 800m at Florida Relays with a national No. 2 time of 1:46.17, while
Charlotte Tomkinson ran the sixth-fastest 1,500m in Georgetown history (4:12.81). At the Ebanks Invitational,
Ida Moczerniuk recorded the second-fastest 100m in program history (11.56) and helped the 4x100m relay to the eighth-fastest mark all-time for the Hoyas.
Florida Relays Results
Georgetown Men
800m: TInoda Matsatsa finished first among more than 70 competitors with a time of 1:46.17, while
Nicholas Medeiros placed 14th with a time of 1:47.89, and
Gabriele Angiono took 18th after clocking in at 1:48.16. Matsatsa's finish is the current NCAA No. 2 time, while Medeiros and Angiono's finishes rank 30th and 36th nationally.
1,500m: Edwin Klanke and
Tommy Shaw captured a pair of top 10 finishes, as Klanke crossed the finish line in third with a time of 3:39.98, followed by Shaw in seventh with a time of 3:41.29. Klanke and Shaw's finishes rank 11th and 26th nationally.
400m Hurdles: Nicholas Givan took 15th with a time of 51.72.
Georgetown Women
1,500m: Charlotte Tomkinson recorded a time of 4:12.81 for a third-place finish and the sixth fastest mark in program history. Her time is the 18th fastest in the country.

Georgetown Men
800m: Natanael Vigo Catala took seventh with a personal best time of 1:50.60 while
Christopher Middleton-Pearson placed eighth with a time of 1:50.87.
Alex Pelov placed 11th with a mark of 1:51.07, and
Daniel McCarthy finished 16th with a personal best time of 1:51.27.
1,500m: Daniel McCarthy placed fourth with a time of 3:51.25.
400m Hurdles: Lucca Pizzimbono finished fifth with a time of 54.58.
400m: Alex Lambert secured a top-10 finish, claiming ninth with a season-best time of 48.47.
Triple Jump: Christian Dohler places second with a mark of 14.49m (47-06.50)
Georgetown Women
100m: Ida Moczerniuk recorded the second-fastest mark in program history with a time of 11.56 for a second-place finish.
Jadah Fitzgerald finished in seventh with a time of 11.75, setting a new personal best and moving her to fifth in Georgetown's record books.
200m: Moczerniuk ran a season-best time of 24.32 for seventh place, while Fitzgerald took 10th with a season-best time of 24.41. Moczerniuk's finish ranks 15th in program history, and Fitzgerald's mark replaces her previous personal best for 20th on Georgetown's all-time list.
4x100m: The team consisting of Fitzgerald, Moczerniuk,
Mia Coleman and
Sofia Calabretta took second with a time of 45.97. Their finish is the eighth fastest in program history.
800m: Seven Hoyas finished within the top 15, led by
Mary Grace Hegberg in second with a time of 2:07.67.
Lillie Bogdan crossed the finish line next in sixth with a time of 2:10.56, followed by
Emma Bennett (8th, 2:11.89),
Luci Lambert (10th, 2:12.63),
Tess Sherry (11th, 2:12.73),
Emma Zawatski (12th, 2:13.16) and
Liv Sherry (13th, 2:13.44). Hegberg and T. Sherry's marks were personal bests.
1,500m: Lambert clocked a season-best mark of 4:26.46 for second place, followed by
Victoria Ketzler in ninth with a new personal best of 4:33.35.
Cate Joaquin took 18th and recorded a personal best of 4:40.83.
