WASHINGTON – A trio of Georgetown University men's lacrosse players earned BIG EAST Weekly honors, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Aidan Carroll was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week and
Anderson Moore was tabbed the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week while
James Carroll was selected as the BIG EAST Specialist of the Week after the Hoyas defeated UAlbany 12-7 in nonconference action last week

BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Carroll repeats as BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week after scoring five goals and added an assist for six points in the 12-7 win at UAlbany. He became the 31st player in program history to reach 100 career points and is the first Hoya to score five goals in back-to-back games since Nicky Solomon in 2023.

Carroll scored a goal and added an assist while collecting four ground balls on Georgetown's rope unit. He scored his first career goal courtesy of an assist from his brother Aidan and assisted on Aidan's 100th career point.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Moore collected 14 saves, tied for second most in his career, in the 12-7 win at UAlbany to earn his second-straight BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week honor and third time this season. He collected a career-high eight ground balls as well. Moore now has 12 games with double-digit saves in his 23-game career. Georgetown's defense has held four of its six opponents to eight goals or fewer this year.
