Hoyas Drop Contest to Penn State 11-6

Box Score

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team fell to the Penn State Nittany Lions 11-6 on Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, GU slides to 7-10 on the season, while Penn State improves to 12-3.

ON THE RECORD
"One of those days where their starter was outstanding, going four frames and no hits.  We couldn't make adjustments. He did a good job keeping us off balance and really had good stuff today. I thought that was really the game. We weren't able to get things going, and then when we did, it was a little too late, but I liked our fight. I was really happy to see some of our guys come off the bench and get some opportunities. It was really great to see Ethan Rucker and Ryan DeMartin get their first couple clean innings of their career too. Tough day, but we're back at it on Friday." - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
