WASHINGTON – Georgetown's Andrew Williams was named the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the league office in New York on Monday. The award comes after a stellar outing for Williams against then-No. 7 Florida State.

• Williams was electric on Sunday tossing five innings while allowing no earned runs against Florida State.
• The Atlanta native gave up five hits while punching out three in the contest.
• This is Williams' first honor of the season and the third of the season for the Hoyas.
