WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's lightweight rowing team is set to compete against Navy in the John J. Forster Cup on the Potomac River in Washington D.C. on Saturday, April 12. The Hoyas are set to send their Varsity A, B and C boats out on the water. The Hoyas are coming off of a successful weekend in Leonia, New Jersey, where 5-of-7 boats that raced finished in first place.
"This weekend's race against the U.S. Naval Academy will offer us an opportunity unlike any other we have this spring. Not only is the Naval Academy a strong program, but their team's depth will test our younger rowers more than ever before. We are looking forward to the challenge." - Lightweight Coach Ethan Shoemaker
