Box Score STORRS, Conn. – The Georgetown University baseball team fell 8-3 in the series finale at UConn. With the loss, GU slides to 12-23 overall and 1-5 in league action while the Huskies improve to 17-17 and 5-4 in conference play.
ON THE RECORD
"Credit to UConn, their guy West was phenomenal today. I mean, he showed a lot of toughness. He pitched on Wednesday, and it says a lot about who he is and how he competed, and he did a great job. Ian Cooke behind him, you know, he did a good job. Offensively, we couldn't get anything going. Unfortunately, it wasn't our day. You know, they came out and they took advantage of some situations and they scored when they needed to, and they did a good job. Nothing we can do, can't get too caught up in it having a quick turnaround going play a top-15 team at home tomorrow. We are excited for that and looking forward to getting back home for a little bit." - Head Coach
Edwin Thompson
