WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team will host the Maryland Terrapins on Tuesday, April 29 at Capital One Park before traveling to Emmitsburg, Maryland to face Mount St. Mary's on Wednesday. First pitch on Tuesday is slated for 6 p.m. while Wednesday's contest will begin at 3 p.m.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Georgetown (13-30, 2-10 BE) is coming off an 0-3 weekend in Cincinnati against the Xavier Musketeers. GU dropped the contests 6-2, 15-3 and 9-2.
- Blake Schaaf paces the Hoya offense, slashing .328/.439/.467 on the season. The sophomore is second on the team in doubles (8), is second on the squad in triples (1) and leads the team on the base path with 24 stolen bags on the campaign.
- Owen Carapellotti has been sensational in conference play slashing .380/.426/.880 in 12 games for GU. The senior leads the squad in hits (19), doubles (4), home runs (7) and RBIs (21). Carapellotti is seven homers away from breaking the single season home run record of 20 set by Ubaldo Lopez.
- JT Raab leads the Hoyas on the mound boasting a 4-1 record and a 3.43 ERA. Raab leads the team in strikeouts (60) and innings pitched (60.1). The graduate student tossed 6.2 frames on Friday night against Xavier allowing four hits and one run while punching out six.
- Georgetown ranks 16th nationally in stolen bases with 100 on the season. The Blue & Gray ranks top three in the BIG EAST in base on balls (211), sacrifice bunts (31), sacrifice flies (24), shutouts (1), stolen bases (102) and stolen bases per game (2.37).
ABOUT UMD
- Maryland (20-25, 6-15 B10) is coming off a 2-2 week with wins against Towson and Nebraska. UMD dropped its weekend series with the Cornhuskers with a 7-2 loss on Saturday and a 21-5 loss on Sunday.
- Chris Hacopian leads the Terrapins at the dish slashing .336/.479/.573 on the season. Hacopians has 10 doubles, eight homers and 14 RBIs to his credit in 41 games.
- On the mound, Kyle McCoy paces the Terps with a 3.27 ERA and a 4-2 record. McCoy has tossed 66.0 innings and has allowed only 24 earned runs and 17 walks while punching out 60.
ABOUT MOUNT ST. MARY'S
- Mount St. Mary's (16-26, 9-12 MAAC) is coming off a 1-3 week with its lone win coming against Canisius in the first game of the series with the Golden Griffins on Friday night.
- Nolan Book leads Mount St. Mary's at the plate, slashing .315/.400/.394 on the season. Book has started 41 of the squad's 42 games and has seven doubles, three homers and 33 RBIs to his credit.
- On the bump, Serigne Sarre leads the Mountaineers with a 3.56 ERA and a 4-5 record. Sarre has tossed a team-high 55.2 frames while allowing 22 earned runs and 24 walks while punching out 68.
