Jaden Marchan and Natanael Vigo Catala Set to Compete in 2025 Junior Pan American Games

WASHINGTON – Georgetown track & field is sending two student-athletes to compete at The Asunción 2025 Junior Pan American Games this week. The Games will take place in Asunción, Paraguay from August 9–23, with track & field events scheduled for August 18–22.

"While many athletes were enjoying their summer off, both Jaden and Natanael have worked hard preparing for this opportunity and earned their selections to Trinidad and Puerto Rico's track contingent at these Games. Competing on a Global stage at the Junior PanAm Games (4,000+ athletes from 41 countries) is special and we're proud to have these young Hoyas racing late into August gaining valuable experience at this level." - Head Coach Alton McKenzie

Jaden Marchan will compete for Trinidad & Tobago in both the 400m and the 4x400m relay. Nata Vigo Catala will represent Puerto Rico in the 4x400m relay.

Vigo Catala, the reigning 400m champion from the Puerto Rican Junior Championships in June, will race in the 400m preliminaries on August 19, with the final set for August 20. Marchan, who captured the 400m title at Trinidad's Senior Trials on August 2, will also line up in the 4x400m relay on August 22.
