WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's field hockey team welcomes BIG EAST foe Temple to the Hilltop for the 2025 home opener. The Hoyas will take on the Owls at Kehoe Field at 1 p.m., playing on campus for the first time since the 2022 campaign.
Please note that spectator seating is extremely limited at Kehoe Field and fans are strongly encouraged to bring their own.

About the Hoyas
- Georgetown (2-4) went 0-2 last weekend losses at Richmond and VCU.
- Caroline Suko scored the lone goal in a 2-1 loss against the Spiders while Lily Saal added an assist. Ella Fahey and Alex Duff combined for five saves against Richmond.
- On the year, Sydney Yodh paces the Hoyas with three goals and two assists for eight points while Izzy Lee has two goals and an assist for five points. Both Saal (1 goal, 2 assists) and Suko (2 goals) have four points.
- In goal, Fahey has a 1.23 goals-against average to go with 13 saves and a .765 save percentage while Duff has a 2.67 GAA with 17 saves and a .680 save percentage.
Scouting Temple
- The Owls are 6-1 on the year following a 2-0 midweek win over Drexel on Tuesday.
- Peyton Rieger leads Temple with four goals and three assists for 11 points while Mathea Lassalle has four goals for eight points. Both Mara Lenting and Lucia Margro both have three goals and an assist for seven points.
- In goal, Alex Lepore has been the goalie of record for all six wins after posting a 1.39 GAA to go with 19 saves and a .704 save percentage in five starts.
- Georgetown and the Owls last met in 2024 with Temple winning 3-0 at home in Philadelphia.
