Hoyas and Golden Eagles to Battle on truTV

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team will face the Marquette University Golden Eagles in a BIG EAST Conference matchup on Sunday evening at McDonough Arena. The opening tip is scheduled for 5 p.m., and the game will be broadcast live on truTV as well as HBO Max with J.B. Long and Christy Winters-Scott on the call.

About the Hoyas
  • Georgetown (12-9, 5-7 BIG EAST) is coming off of a close 58-52 loss to Seton Hall on Thursday morning at McDonough Arena.
  • Sophomore Destiny Agubata led the way with 12 points, while graduate student Brianna Scott added 11 and junior Khia Miller had 10.
  • Sophomore Khadee Hession pulled down a team-high seven rebounds, and Miller managed three steals.
  • The Blue & Gray shot 34.5% (20-58) from the field, and allowed 39.5% (17-43) shooting by Seton Hall.

  • The Golden Eagles have four players averaging in double figures with Skylar Forbes leading the way averaging 15.0 ppg.
  • Vice is second with 14.4 ppg as well as team-best 9.0 rpg.
  • Sunday will mark the Golden Eagles' fourth road trip in 18 days with three of those coming on the East Coast.
