WASHINGTON – Georgetown volleyball returns to McDonough Arena to resume conference action against UConn and Providence this weekend. The Hoyas host the Huskies on Friday, October 2 at 7 p.m., followed by a Saturday night clash against the Friars on October 3 at 6 p.m.

About the Hoyas
- Head Coach AJ Bonetti enters his fourth season at the helm following a 14-15 campaign last year, which included a 7-9 finish in BIG EAST play.
- Georgetown (8-5, 0-2 BIG EAST) opened conference play on the road last weekend, falling 3-0 to Xavier and 3-1 to Butler.
- Georgetown averages 13.04 kills and 12.11 assists per set offensively, while collecting 13.38 digs and 2.31 blocks per set on defense.
- Preseason All-BIG EAST selection Kamryn Lee-Caracci leads Georgetown's offense with 133 kills (2.96 per set), followed by Dionna Mitchell with 124 (2.95 per set) and Ploder with 107 (2.43 per set).

- Graduate transfer Bella McGirr anchors the defense with 123 total digs (4.24 per set), while Mitchell has recorded 106 (2.52 per set) and Urbina has posted 100 (2.22 per set).
- Ploder (51), Lee-Caracci (40) and McGregor (32) lead the net defense in total blocks.
- Georgetown welcomes four freshmen this season: Lexi Anderson, Avery Lewis, Addie Lloyd and Olivia Penske.
