WASHINGTON – The Georgetown women's lacrosse team will face Towson University on Saturday, February 14. The opening draw is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Maryland. Live stats and streaming will be available at GUHoyas.com.
 
ABOUT THE HOYAS

• The Hoyas are coming off a 14-3 victory against American in the 2026 season opener last week.
• Against the Eagles, Gracie Driggs led the Hoyas on offense with four goals, followed by Anne McGovern with three goals and two assists. Driggs is one goal away from 100 career goals.
• Molly Wood was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after leading the squad with six caused turnovers and three ground balls.
• Driggs controlled the circle with four draw controls followed by Amanda Brille with two.
• The Hoyas outshot the Eagles 32-11 and held AU to just one shot on goal during the first and third quarter.

ABOUT THE TIGERS

• Towson fell 15-6 to Villanova at Villanova Stadium on Monday, February 9.
• Hannah Lewis, Hailey Waldron and Elise Smigiel each scored two goals for the Tigers.
• In net, Jenna Cardeno leads the team with 25 saves for a .419 save percentage.

ABOUT THE MATCHUP

• Saturday's contest will be the 29th meeting for the Hoyas and the Tigers. The Blue & Gray are 12-16 against Towson.
• Last season, GU fell to the Tigers 10-9 in triple overtime at home. Sophia Loschert and Driggs led the offense with two goals apiece while Driggs led the squad with seven draw controls.
