WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team is set to host the FDU Knights for a three-game weekend series in Tysons, Virginia. Game one of the series at Capital One Park is scheduled for Friday, February 27, with first pitch coming at 3 p.m.

- During the 2026 season, all parking for games at Capital One Park will be in the underground garage at 1820 Capital One Drive South. Patrons should bring their parking ticket to the stadium for validation of baseball rate.
ABOUT THE HOYAS
- In its last outing, Georgetown fell to the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) on Wednesday night 12-7 in Tysons, Virginia.
- Senior Jeremy Sheffield was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week on February 23. Sheffield is currently slashing .457/.525/.743 and leads the Hoya offense with 16 hits and 15 RBIs.
- In his first season with the Blue & Gray, LHP Spencer Seid earned a nod to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after tossing 5.2 scoreless innings against Saint Peter's.
- Graduate transfer Connor Peek was also named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after a standout home opening weekend. Peek is currently hitting .464 on the season with 13 hits and 13 runs scored.
- Graduate student JT Raab earned a nod to the 2026 Preseason All-BIG EAST Team after posting a team-best 3.63 ERA in 74.1 innings of action in 2025.
- Georgetown returns 22 players from the 2025 squad and has added 10 transfers and seven newcomers.
- Head Coach Edwin Thompson enters his sixth season on the Hilltop. Thompson guided GU to its most successful season in program history in 2024, posting a 36-21 record, marking three-consecutive 30-win seasons for the first time in program history.
