WASHINGTON – Georgetown University baseball's Kai Leckszas was named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll, as announced by the league office in New York on Monday. The award comes after a 3-1 week for the Hoyas that saw a sweep of the Fairleigh Dickinson University Knights at Capital One Park. The honors mark the Blue & Gray's fifth recognition from the league and Leckszas' first nod this season.
KAI LECKSZAS (SENIOR / RHP / WASHINGTON, D.C.) - BIG EAST HONOR ROLL
- Leckszas struck out six batters to lead Georgetown to a 12-1 win over FDU on Friday, February 27 at Capital One Park
- The senior won his second game of the season and allowed only one run on three hits.
- This is Leckszas' first accolade from the league this season and first in his career.
