WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team is set to travel to face the North Carolina A&T State Aggies from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29. First pitch of the series is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Greensboro, North Carolina.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- In its last outing, Georgetown narrowly won the weekend series, 2-1, at Capital One Park in Tysons, Virginia.
- Last week, Spencer Seid was named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll. The graduate student earned his second accolade from the league this season and second in his career. Seid tossed 6.0 innings, punching out eight, allowing one run and two hits, earning his fifth win of the season against Youngstown State and now sits at 5-1 on the year.
- Connor Peek paces the Hoya offense slashing .363/.461/.473 in his first season on the Hilltop. The graduate student has tallied 33 hits, seven doubles, a home run, 24 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
- Jeremy Sheffield has had a standout performance slashing .376/.468/.516 this season. The senior has notched 35 hits, 25 RBIs, eight doubles, a triple, a home run and 14 runs scored.
- Georgetown returns 22 players from the 2025 squad and has added 10 transfers and seven newcomers.
- Graduate student JT Raab earned a nod to the 2026 Preseason All-BIG EAST Team after posting a team-best 3.63 ERA in 74.1 innings of action in 2025. The Seaford, New York native was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team in 2025.
- Head Coach Edwin Thompson enters his sixth season on the Hilltop. Thompson guided GU to its most successful season in program history in 2024 posting a 36-21 record marking three-consecutive 30-win seasons for the first time in program history.
ABOUT NORTH CAROLINA A&T STATE
- North Carolina A&T State enters the contest with a 5-18 overall record and a 2-7 mark in conference play following a 10-6 win over Gardner-Webb University.
