WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's 15th-ranked men's lacrosse team returns to the friendly confines of Cooper Field to host UAlbany on Tuesday. Opening faceoff is set for 3 p.m. in the Nation's Capital.

• The Hoyas are ranked 15th in both recent United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coaches Poll and Kane Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
• Georgetown is coming off a 14-10 setback at second-ranked Richmond on Saturday.
• Rory Connor led the Hoyas with six goals and an assist, Jack Schubert tallied two goals and Jordan Wray chimed in with a goal and an assist.
• Johnny Price scored his first career goal while Natty Mason, Ty Banks, Joe Cesare, Jack Ransom and Liam Connor each dished out one assist.
• Hayden Cody went 11-for-24 (.458) on faceoffs to go with three ground balls.

• On the year, Rory Connor leads the Hoyas with 23 points (20G, 3A) and leads the NCAA in goals per game (5.00). Liam Connor has 10 points (1G, 9A) while Cesare and Schubert both have six.
• MacFarland has been credited with seven caused turnovers this year while James Carretta and McGurrin both have five.
• Cody is .500 on the year at the faceoff dot, winning 27-of-54 to go with 17 ground balls while Ross Prince is also .500 (21-for-42) with 11 ground balls.
• In goal, Moore has a 12.00 goals-against average to go with a .489 save percentage and 46 saves in four games.

Scouting UAlbany

• The Great Danes are 2-3 on the season and coming off a 14-10 victory at home over Hobart on Saturday.
• Silas Richmond leads UAlbany with 26 points (12G, 14A) while Ryan Doherty adds 16 points (10G, 6A), Jackson Palumb has 15 (12G, 3A) and Koleton Marquis chimes in with 14 points (11G, 3A).
• Austin Oppenheim has won 44-of-86 (.512) faceoffs with 27 ground balls while Rocco Mareno has won 16-of-38 (.421) draws with five ground balls.
• Defensively, Jacob Smith anchors the Great Dane defense with nine caused turnovers and 15 ground balls while Cade Gelko almost matches him with nine caused turnovers and 13 ground balls.
• In goal, Brady Smith (2-3) has played all but 13:14 between the pipes and has a 12.03 GAA to go with a .380 save percentage and 35 saves.

Series History

• Georgetown and UAlbany met for the first time ever last season with the Hoyas winning 12-7 on the road.  
• In the win, Aidan Carroll scored five goals and added an assist to become just the 31st player in program history to reach 100 career points.
• Moore posted 14 saves in the win and collected a career-high eight ground balls.
