WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University softball team (14-17, 7-8 BIG EAST) will continue BIG EAST Conference play on Friday afternoon as the squad faces the Butler University Bulldogs (17-16, 9-6 BIG EAST) at the Mount Vernon Softball Complex in Washington, D.C. Friday's game is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m., while Saturday is at 1 p.m., and Sunday's final game will begin at noon.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- On Wednesday, GU fell 4-3 in eight innings in a midweek matchup against James Madison.

- The Bulldogs had a midweek game against IU Indy postponed, so the squad is coming off of a 0-3 weekend at UConn falling 16-3, 5-0 and 2-1.
