WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team continues its 2026 campaign with three matches at the Battle of the Beltway this weekend in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. The Hoyas open on the road against Morgan State on Friday before returning to McDonough Arena to host Loyola Maryland on Saturday. Georgetown closes out the tournament Sunday in Baltimore against UMBC.

About the Hoyas
- Head Coach AJ Bonetti enters his fourth season at the helm following a 14-15 campaign last year, which included a 7-9 finish in BIG EAST play.
- The Hoyas bring a 4-2 record into the weekend following a 2-1 showing at the Wake Forest Invitational, where they rebounded from an opening loss to UCF with back-to-back victories over Davidson and Wake Forest.
- Georgetown averages 12.91 kills and 12.00 assists per set offensively, while collecting 13.68 digs and 2.16 blocks per set on defense.
- Georgetown's Berkeley Ploder was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after recording 35 kills on a .635 hitting percentage across three matches last weekend. Ploder leads the conference with a .500 hitting percentage and ranks third on the team in kills with 50.
- Preseason All-BIG EAST selection Kamryn Lee-Caracci leads the attack with 64 kills (2.91 per set) and a .482 hitting percentage, which ranks second in the conference. Dionna Mitchell follows with 57 kills (2.59 per set), while Katherine McGregor has added 43 (2.11 per set) and Grace Albaugh has chipped in 40 (1.95 per set).
- Juleigh Urbina paces the offense with 154 assists (7.00 per set), while Natalie Nguyen has added 60 (4.00 per set). Urbina's assists per set rank fifth in the conference.
- Graduate transfer Bella McGirr leads the defense with 96 total digs, averaging 4.36 per set, which ranks third in the conference.
- Lee-Caracci (26), Ploder (16), and McGregor (11) lead the net defense in double-digit blocks. Lee-Caracci set a career-high 10 blocks in Saturday's 3-0 sweep over Davidson.
- Georgetown welcomes four freshmen this season: Lexi Anderson, Avery Lewis, Addie Lloyd and Olivia Penske.
