NEW YORK - Sophomore forward Abby Droner was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, while goalkeeper Alexa Hadley earned a spot on the Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Monday. The duo played key roles in Georgetown's 4-1 victory over George Washington last Wednesday night at Shaw Field.

BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week

• Droner delivered a dominant performance against George Washington, scoring twice from the penalty spot to record her third and fourth goals of the season.
• The Chatham, N.J. native also added an assist against the Revolutionaries, contributing to three of Georgetown's four goals in the 4-1 victory.
• Monday's honor marks Droner's second BIG EAST weekly award of the season after she was previously named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll following Georgetown's season-opening victory over Fordham.
• Through seven matches this season, Droner leads the Hoyas with four goals and has added three assists for 11 points.

• Hadley made her first career start against George Washington, recording a save and helping the Hoyas secure a 4-1 victory to close out nonconference play.

• Monday's Honor Roll selection marks the first BIG EAST weekly award of Hadley's career.
