VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Georgetown University field hockey team (0-13, 0-3 BIG EAST) fell behind early against Villanova (11-4, 2-2 BIG EAST), as the Wildcats scored three quick first half goals, taking the Hoyas out of the match early, en route to a 5-0 loss on Friday night at Villanova Stadium.

The Wildcats continued to roll, as Abby Sordoni slapped a penalty corner into the back of the cage in the 20th minute to take a 3-0 lead.

In the 48th minute Abby Sordoni knocked Emily Donaldson's pass into the back of the net, just over 10 minutes later Meredith Sabatini scored on another Donaldson assist to put Villanova in front 5-0, the eventual final score.

The Hoyas return home on Sunday, October 19 to host Bucknell at 11 a.m. at the Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex at the University of Maryland.
