WASHINGTON - Traveling to Terre Haute, Ind., the Georgetown Hoyas previewed the NCAA Championship course today competing in the Indiana State Pre-National Meet. All-American Emily Jones (Harvard, Mass./Bromfield) finished 19th overall (21:15) while Annamarie Maag (Lake Oswego, Ore./Jesuit), the fourth Hoya to finish, took 26th overall (21:27). The final GU competitor to score points was Katrina Coogan (Exeter, N.H./Phillips Exeter Academy), finishing 33rd overall with a time of 21:39, registering 32 points for the team.
Despite their times and places not counting toward the final score, Kirsten Kasper (North Andover, Mass./North Andover) and Lauren Borduin (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge) finished 41st and 45th with times of 21:47 and 21:50, respectively.
The Hoyas will continue competition on Saturday, October 29 at the BIG EAST Championships held at the E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
