Graves-Brown Named to All-BIG EAST First Team

Nov. 4, 2015

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Junior Aliyah Graves-Brown (Harrisburg, Pa./Harrisburg Academy) earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors for the 2015 season as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.

This is the second All-BIG EAST selection of Graves-Brown's career as she was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team in 2014. She is the first Hoya in Georgetown field hockey program history to be selected to the BIG EAST First Team.

The forward played in all 19 games this season, starting 18 and led the team in goals with five. Graves-Brown also recorded an assist to give her a team-high 11 points. She rounded out the year on a high note for the Hoyas, as she was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 19, after tallying two goals against Villanova, including the golden goal in overtime to give the Hoyas the 2-1 win and their first BIG EAST victory since 2011.

In her career at Georgetown, Graves-Brown has appeared in 55 games and has 11 goals, seven assists and 29 shots to her credit.
