Baseball Game Against UMBC Moved to Wednesday

April 24, 2017

WASHINGTON - Due to impending inclement weather in Tuesday's forecast, the game between the Georgetown University's baseball team and UMBC, originally scheduled for Tuesday evening, has been moved to Wednesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Shirley Povich Field. Live stats and a video stream will be available at www.GUHoyas.com and in-game updates can be found on the team's twitter account: @GtownBaseball.

Nick Leonard (Washington, D.C./Maret) will get the start for the Hoyas (21-18, 0-6 BIG EAST) who are looking to get back into the win column after dropping three conference games at Seton Hall over the weekend. UMBC, which has won two-straight games and four of its past five, enters Wednesday's matchup at 13-17 overall and 7-5 in America East play.
