Georgetown fell 21-11 to the No. 1 Boston College Eagles on Saturday at the Newton Campus Lacrosse and Soccer Field. Senior midfielder
Francesca Whitehurst (Baltimore, Md. / Roland Park Country School) led the way for the Blue & Gray with a hat trick, while junior midfielder

Liza Liotta (Baltimore, Md. / St. Paul's School for Girls) had two goals apiece. In goal, junior
Micheline DiNardo (Rye, N.Y. / Rye) played 47 minutes and had five saves in the contest.
The Hoyas were outshot 29-20 and pulled in just nine draw controls to BC's 24. The defense forced 10 Eagle turnovers as GU committed just eight in the game.
Senior attacker
Taylor Gebhardt (Baldwinsville, N.Y. / C.W. Baker) leads the team in scoring with 18 goals and nine assists for 27 points on the season. She is followed by Whitehurst who has 26 points on 13 goals and 13 assists. Lynch and Ryan are tied for third and fourth, respectively. Ryan has 19 goals, while Lynch has tallied 15 goals and four assists for 19 points on the season.
Lynch has 32 draw controls on the year followed by freshman midfielder
Jordyn Sabourin (Catonsville, Md. / Notre Dame Prep) and Whitehurst with 24 apiece. Junior
Noelle Peragine (Northport, N.Y. / Northport) and Lynch lead the defense with 12 caused turnovers each. In goal, senior
Haelle Chomo (Naples, Fla. / Barron Collier) has played a majority of the minutes in the cage with 65 saves and an 9.51 goal-against average for the season.
Voted the Preseason Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, Livy Rosenzweig has already recorded five or more points through five games, including an eight-point outing (4g, 4a) at No. 4 Syracuse and a seven-point performance (4g, 3a) at No. 25 Towson. Senior Hannah Powers is second on the team with 16 goals and nine assists for 25 points. She also sports a team-best 42-game point streak. With the Greyhounds' 4-3 record, three of the victories have come over nationally-ranked opponents.
The Hoyas are 9-11 against the Greyhounds and 2-5 on the road. Last year, Georgetown fell 13-9 at Cooper Field as
Michaela Bruno (Garden City, N.Y. / Garden City) managed four goals and Ryan had two goals and two assists. In the last meeting in Maryland, GU fell by a score of 11-7 as Gebhardt led the way with three goals to her credit.
Georgetown is finishing off a challenging three-game road trip as the squad will face three ranked opponents in a three-week span.
