WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's lacrosse team hosts Fairfield on the Hilltop for the 2020 home opener on Saturday. The 14th-ranked Hoyas are undefeated at 2-0 on the season while the Stags come to the Nation's Capital 2-0 overall as well.

• Saturday's home opener kicks off a three-game homestand for the Blue & Gray.
• Following last weekend's 14-8 victory over UMBC,
Jake Carraway was named the BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week.
• Carraway led the Hoyas with four goals and three assists for seven points. He moved to third all-time on Georgetown's career scoring list with 192 points (129G, 63A), passing Andy Flick ('00), Paul Murphy ('85) and Chris Remington ('95) on the day.

James Reilly was named to the USILA Team of the Week and the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after a dominating performance at the faceoff 'X'.
• Reilly won 19-of-24 faceoffs and collected 12 ground balls to tie a career high.
• Carraway leads the Hoyas with 12 points (8G, 4A) on the year followed by
Dylan Watson (8G, 1A) and
Robert Clark (4G, 5A) with nine points each.
• Defensively,
Owen McElroy has posted both wins between the pipes. He has collected 12 saves on the year and owns a .545 save percentage to go with a 5.49 goals-against average to rank second in the NCAA.
• The Hoyas have been credited with 19 caused turnovers in two games with
James Donaldson leading the way with four.
• Long-stick midfielder
Alex Mazzone has 11 ground balls, a pair of caused turnovers and a goal so far this season.
• At the 'X', Reilly ranks fourth in the NCAA with a .725 faceoff win percentage. He is also top-20 in the nation with 8.50 ground balls per game.
About Fairfield
• Fairfield is coming off of a 14-11 victory over Merrimack on Tuesday. Dylan Beckwith and Travis Ford both had four goals for the Stags while Brian Reda tallied six assists.
• Frankie Labetti won 15-of-27 faceoffs and hauled in nine ground balls.
• Jason Corasaniti had eight saves between the pipes for the win.
• Beckwith leads Fairfield with 14 points (9G, 5A) on the year with Reda right behind him with 12 points (2G, 10A).
• Labetti has won half his faceoffs (31-for-62) and paced the Stags with 19 ground balls.
• Defensively, Jake Tymon has five caused turnovers on the year.
• In goal, Corasaniti is the only Stag to see any action yet, collecting 19 saves with a .413 save percentage and a 13.50 GAA.
Series History
• Georgetown and Fairfield have faced each other six times in program history with the Hoyas owning a 5-1 all-time record against the Stags.
• The Blue & Gray won the meeting between the two teams in Connecticut last season as Carraway led the Hoyas with four goals and five assists for a career-high nine points.
