WASHINGTON – No. 15/20 Georgetown women's soccer team closes out BIG EAST play Thursday, Oct. 28 as it hosts UConn at Shaw Field. The Hoyas are second in conference and No. 9 in the NCAA RPI with a record of 11-0-6 overall and 7-0-2 in the BIG EAST. The Huskies are 8-7-1 overall and 4-4-1 in the conference leaving them in sixth place in the BIG EAST. The match will be at 2 p.m. and streamed live on BIG EAST Digital Network with live stats available on GUHoyas.com.

About the Hoyas

• The Hoyas are coming off a 3-0 road win on Sunday over Seton Hall with all three of the goals scored by the Blue & Gray coming from set pieces. 
• Junior Gia Vicari has nine goals for the Hoyas along with seven assists. 
• Centerback graduate students Sydney Cummings and Kelly Ann Livingstone both scored for the Hoyas off freekicks from outside the box.
• Senior Maya Fernandez-Powell now has 10 assists after recording assists for all three goals in Sunday's match.
• Leas was named as BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Monday as Fernandez-Powell was named to the Weekly Honor Roll. 

About the Huskies

• The Huskies are coming off a 1-0 loss to No. 17 Xavier on Sunday.
• Sophomore Jaydah Bedoya has six goals and three assists to her name in the fall season.
• Sophomore Lucy Cappadona leads UConn with four assists and fellow sophomore forward Jada Konte has 11 points from four goals and three assists.
• Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Mahoney had a career high number of saves against Providence on Thursday with 14 saves. She was named BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday.
