About the Hoyas

  • Junior Annabelle Albert led the way with four goals, while graduate student Michaela Bruno added three goals and an assist.
  • Graduate student Natalia Lynch also managed two goals, two assists and four draw controls in the contest.

  • In the cage, sophomore Emily Gaven tallied nine saves, while Carly Merlo made 11 stops.
  • It marked GU's second contest against a ranked opponent this season.
  • For her efforts against Towson, Lynch was named the BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week on Monday.
  • It was her seventh-career BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week honor and the first for the Hoyas this season.
About the Wildcats

  • Gulmi totaled four points off a goal and three assists last week for the Wildcats, including a three-point performance against Hofstra on Saturday. The rookie's assist on Wednesday against La Salle came on Brittany Bruno's game-tying goal with 1:58 to play.
  • Hofstra marked the end of the nonconference slate for the Wildcats as the squad looks ahead to BIG EAST opponents.
Series Info
  • Georgetown is 17-5 all-time against the Wildcats and 8-2 at home.
  • The last meeting was a 12-8 Hoya victory in Pennsylvania during the 2019 campaign.

  • The last meeting in The District was a 19-10 Hoya triumph in 2018.
