WASHINGTON – Georgetown University men's basketball senior Jahvon Blair has been selected All-BIG EAST Honorable Mention as announced by the league office on Sunday afternoon. The accolade recognizes his efforts during the 2020-21 season.
 
JAHVON BLAIR

• Blair leads a quartet of Hoyas scoring in double figures with 15.9 ppg, which ranks sixth in the BIG EAST Conference.
• He leads the team with 54 made 3-pointers this season and his 81 assists is a squad best.
• With 2.7 triples per game, the senior is second in the league.
• In conference action, his 4.0 assists per game was good enough for seventh in the BE.
• He was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on November 30.
• It is the second league postseason honor of his career as he was named to the 2018 BIG EAST All-Freshman Team.

The Hoyas have earned the eight seed and will face the ninth-seeded Marquette University Golden Eagles in the first round of the 2021 BIG EAST Men's Basketball Tournament Presented by Jeep on Wednesday, March 10. Tipoff at Madison Square Garden is scheduled for 3 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on FS1.
