Georgetown Battles Dartmouth for a Draw

Box Score

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's soccer team drew with Dartmouth Thursday afternoon at Shaw Field. The Hoyas and the Big Green each finished with one goal each after overtime.

Head Coach Dave Nolan
"Definitely a disappointing result today but credit to Dartmouth. Their staff did a great job organizing them and they are a very dangerous counter attacking team. They scored how we feared they would, but credit to our girls for responding quickly and at that point I felt only one team would go on and win the game and that was us.

However, we showed great spirit and fight. We lacked a little bit of quality in crucial moments and could never get the second goal despite all the pressure we mounted. We now have to recover quickly and get ready for a very good Princeton team on Sunday."
