WASHINGTON – The No. 15 Hoyas will kickoff a three game series of home games this Thursday, September 30 against DePaul. The match is slated for a 4 p.m. start at Shaw Field. Georgetown is 5-0-5 on the season overall and 1-0-1 in the BIG EAST as  DePaul is 3-6 overall and 0-1 in the conference. About the Hoyas 

• Georgetown is coming off a 2-1 win over Xavier on Sunday and a 1-1 tie with Creighton on Thursday. With these two results the Hoyas moved up ten spots in the polls from No. 25 to No. 15.
• Junior forward Gia Vicari leads the Hoyas in goals and points, totaling seven and 15, respectively.
• Junior Julia Leas tops the charts for Georgetown in assists with four to her name. 
• Vicari was named Offensive Player of the Week by the BIG EAST for her performance last week.
• Senior Maya Fernandez-Powell is second in goals and in assists with two each. 

About the Blue Demons

• DePaul's three victories come from a 1-0 win over Oakland, a 3-0 win against UIC, and another 3-0 win besting Eastern Illinois. 
• Sophomores Beth Smyth and Grace Phillppotts each have two assists on the season.
• Graduate student Morgan Turner leads the Blue Demons with four goals and eight points.
• The Blue Demons welcomed four freshmen to their team for the fall season.

• The last matchup between the Hoyas and Blue Demons was in 2019 where Georgetown lost in overtime 2-1.
