WASHINGTON – The No. 13 Georgetown University women's soccer team will travel to Marquette on Saturday, October 18. Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. EST at Valley Fields.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Georgetown (11-2-2, 7-0 BE) defeated the Providence Friars 5-0 on Wednesday evening securing the Hoyas' seventh win of the conference slate. Maja Lardner had two goals and an assist with Lizzie Heller, Shay Montgomery, and Henley Tippins adding goals in the contest.
- Last week, Cara Martin had her seventh shutout of the season, helping Georgetown secure its sixth straight BIG EAST victory which earned her the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the week. Kaya Hanson anchored a back line that limited DePaul to just one shot in Georgetown's 2-0 victory, continuing the team's strong defensive form. Earning her a spot on the BIG EAST Honor Roll.
- Martin has logged 1324:50 in goal for the Blue & Gray and boasts a 0.611 goals-against average. The reigning BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year has eight shutouts on the campaign and 33 saves to her credit.
- The Blue & Gray ranks first in the BIG EAST in corners per game (7.47). Martin leads the conference in minutes played in goal (1324:50). Montgomery is second in the conference in total assists (9). Lardner is first in the conference in total goals (11).
- Dating back to 2021, Georgetown boasts a BIG EAST record of 34-2-9 and secured the regular season title in 2022, 2023 and 2024. GU won the BIG EAST Championship in three of the past four seasons (2021, 2022, 2023).

- Marquette (6-4-4, 2-1-3 BE) is coming off a 3-0 loss against Villanova on Wednesday evening.
