WASHINGTON – The Georgetown women's lacrosse team will travel to George Mason University for a nonconference matchup on Wednesday night. The opening draw is scheduled for 6 p.m. The Hoyas are currently 3-3 on the season and are coming off a big 19-3 home victory over crosstown rival Geroge Washington.

The Hoyas currently hold a 1-1 away record as they defeated the American University Eagles and fell to the then-20th ranked Johns Hopkins Blue Jays.

LizaBanks Campagna paces the Georgetown defensive effort as she has 47 draw controls with three caused turnovers. Emma Driggs has 24 draw controls while Jordyn Sabourin has 13, and Melissa Massimino adds eight draw controls to go along with 11 caused turnovers.

Goalkeeper Emily Gaven has started in goal in all six contests for the Hoyas and has 41 saves for a .387 save percentage.

George Mason is 1-5 on the season and are winless at 0-3 in home contests as they have only been able to defeat Howard University on the road (18-5).
