WASHINGTON – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has recognized Georgetown as one of 295 schools to earn academic squad honors across all divisions for the 2022 season. Additionally, six Hoyas were among nearly 900 student-athletes named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
The IWLCA honored 870 student-athletes from 94 different institutions with inclusion in the 2022 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll. All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically and had a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
Senior
Celia Walsh is a two-time winner earning the honor in 2021 as well.
For academic squad honors, the Hoyas were included after posting a team GPA over 3.2, which met the criteria for the award.
