ON THE RECORD
"I'm pleased with today's performance. We came out too conservatively and left ourselves too much room to make up at the end. The goal for this meet was to execute a tough team race and have as small a 1-5 spread as possible. We had a 12 second spread which is very good. This time of year, I look for toughness and competitiveness and we were great in those areas. We have to clean up our tactics but that will come as the season goes on. Adding back in our number top runner
Parker Stokes will also help tremendously" – Head Men's Cross Country Coach
Brandon Bonsey
"This was a solid step forward for the team in managing a large field. Our front 4 of Donahue, Corman, Scrimgeour and Jensen did a great job of being patient and running at a high level the whole way, and our next 6 made some progress to celebrate and build towards October." – Cross Country/Track & Field Assistant Coach
Mitchell Baker
