Olivia Buckman and
Erin Bakes along with seniors
Emily Gaven and
Hayes Anderson were selected by their teammates to lead the 2023 squad.
"The 2023 captains are passionate about the sport and this program," said Fried. "They always put the team's needs ahead of any individual while also valuing each teammate. They are leaders both on and off of the field and work with the staff to make sure that there is alignment across the board."

- Recently was chosen Preseason All-BIG EAST for the 2023 season.
- Last season she started in all 18 games tallying 31 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers.
- Named First-Team All-BIG EAST in 2022.
Olivia Buckman

- The 2021 captain is returning for her fifth year on the Hilltop.
- As a senior started in all 18 games for the Hoyas tallying 19 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers.
Erin Bakes

Miami, Fla./ Ransom Everglades High School/ University of Southern California
- In 2022 named to Second Team All-BIG EAST.
- Last season, Bakes Scored 35 goals with 14 assists for 49 points to rank second on the team in scoring.
- Was named Preseason All-BIG EAST for the 2023 season.

- Appeared in all 18 games for the Hoyas tallying 142 saves and 11.58 goal against average.
- Was named Second Team All-BIG EAST in 2022.
- Awarded the Kim Simons Coaches Award.

- Appeared in five games for the Hoyas in 2022.
- Named to the BIG-East All-Academic Team in 2021 and BIG EAST Academic All-Star in 2020.
