WASHINGTON – Coming off a historic 2023 season that featured the Hoyas' first BIG EAST Championships win, the Georgetown University baseball team will look to build upon its recent success as it announces the 2024 schedule presented by MedStar Health on Tuesday, January 9.
"The 2024 schedule is probably the most challenging we have had in a long time, but it mirrors the University which is a challenging academic institution and that is one of the reasons our players come here. To be challenged on and off the field each and every day we are looking forward to taking our program to new places and facing teams in the top 25 along with preparing ourselves for the rigors of the BIG EAST Conference. We are looking forward to the 2024 season and will strive to make it back to postseason play for the third-consecutive year. We are looking forward to all of our fans coming out and watching us play and our fans' support means the world to me and our organization." – Head Coach
Edwin Thompson
