WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's men's lacrosse team released its 2025 schedule, presented by MedStar Health, as announced by Head Coach
Kevin Warne on Friday. The 2025 slate features eight home games and four contests against teams that made the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
A pair of preseason scrimmages on the road at Navy and Maryland set the tone for another ambitious slate for the Hoyas.
Georgetown opens the 2025 season at home, hosting Loyola to Cooper Field on February 1 before heading up to Baltimore to face Johns Hopkins on February 8. Back-to-back home games against Penn and defending National Champions Notre Dame on February 15 and February 22, respectively, close out an opening month that has the Blue & Gray facing two NCAA tournament teams from a year ago.
The Hoyas open March with back-to-back road tilts against Brown on March 1 and UAlbany on March 5. The game against the Great Danes, another NCAA Tournament team from a year ago, is the first between the two schools in program history. Georgetown then wraps up the month with three-straight home games, hosting High Point on March 15, Richmond on March 22 and Providence on March 29 to open BIG EAST play.
April's schedule is full of BIG EAST competition, starting with a road trek to Milwaukee to face Marquette on April 5. A showdown against Denver, the final NCAA Tournament team from 2024 the Hoyas will face, is set for April 12 in the Nation's Capital before the Blue & Gray heads up to New York to face St. John's on April 19. Georgetown closes out the regular season on April 25 under the lights at Cooper Field against Villanova in a rematch of the 2024 BIG EAST Championship Finals.
The 2025 BIG EAST Men's Lacrosse Championship, presented by JEEP is set for May 1-3 in Denver. Georgetown has won the last six BIG EAST Tournament crowns, including winning the 2019 crown at Peter Barton Family Lacrosse Stadium in the Mile High City.
