WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team's Dionna Mitchell has unanimously been selected to the BIG EAST All-Freshman team, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.

- Mitchell tallied 356 kills this season, averaging an impressive 3.36 kills per set, while also recording 26 service aces.
- Her defensive contributions included 294 digs, with an average of 2.77 digs per set.
- The freshman appeared in all 30 matches for Georgetown playing in 106 total sets.
- Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Mitchell achieved a season-high 22 kills on September 14, 2024, in the match against George Washington. She also recorded a season-best 18 digs on October 12, 2024, in the contest against Xavier.
- Mitchell earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors three times this season, showcasing her consistency and impact.
