Lardner Garners First Team Scholar All-America, Means Earns Spot on Third Team

WASHINGTON – Senior Maja Lardner and junior Natalie Means both earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches' Division I Women's Scholar All-America teams. Lardner, who was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year earned a spot on the first team and Means who was an All-BIG EAST first team selection earned a spot on the third team. Lardner was named to the Academic All-America first team and Means earned a spot on the Academic All-America third team.

  • Appeared in and started all 21 games this season for GU.
  • Led the team in goals with 11 and finished the season tied for the team lead in assists with seven.
  • Named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year after leading the conference in points.
  • Earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST First Team, All-East Region First Team and was named to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
  • Lardner is pursuing a degree in finance.
